The duties

Contaminants rule the earth

We’re in need of a rebirth

The wildlife quench with thirst

Our little bubble is bound to burst

Everything is going ablaze

Your oblivion is one that I amaze

Our world is becoming broken

What did you expect from Pandora’s box being opened?

Our Earth is experiencing some major problems that are greatly affecting all life forms and the Earth itself. These problems are mostly being caused by the human race. Things like not recycling, deforestation, and pollution are all human impacts that are ruining our Earth. One of the biggest problems that the Earth is currently facing is global warming.

Global warming is one of the biggest issues that the Earth is presently going through. It is the overall increase of the average global temperature throughout the years. This increase is caused by the amount of greenhouse gases that are being emitted into the air and trapping radiation causing the air to become hotter. Global warming is a very debatable topic, being that there are many people that do not believe in it. However, there are many believers in the world that are trying to put a stop to it. If we don’t find a way to stop it or at least slow it down the Earth is in serious danger. Global warming is causing glaciers to melt, and it is destroying animal habitats. Because glaciers are melting, the sea levels will rise which causes an increase in flooding. Oceans are also absorbing these gases that are polluting the air which causes the seawater to become more acidic. Coral reefs will become very rare if this continues to happen. The Great Barrier Reef in Australia has already started to deteriorate due to coral bleaching which is caused by Global warming. A great amount of marine life depends on coral reefs for their shelter, and we are destroying it. Another way that the Earth is being affected is that storms are becoming more intense as global warming worsens. Depending on the type of storm, many different things can become destroyed. It is important to be aware that this is really going on, and there are things that we can do to help save our Earth. Some of these things include planting more trees, recycling, and using alternative energy sources. By doing these we won’t necessarily be able to completely stop global warming, but we can decrease the amount of emissions of greenhouse gases and fossil fuels. Overall, global warming has become a very big issue that the world is facing, and it needs to be controlled and payed attention to.

As you can see, global warming is a problem that is greatly impacting our earth and has worsened over the course of time. Even though there are some non-believers, it has been proven time and time again that there is something bad happening that needs to be acted upon. We need to protect our Earth and do everything we can to save it. If we don’t act now, the Earth may be doomed.

You think you’re trash?

You think that preppy girl giving you dirty looks is trash?

You think that teacher that always picks on you is trash?

Put that figurative nonsense aside

Let’s talk about real trash.

That water bottle you decided to throw in the garbage can

Because “you weren’t thinking”

Once again, you were thinking about the “trashy” girl

Listen, you’re human

Things happens

However,

Imagine that bottle scene one more time

Now since you’re human

A multitude of people have done what you just did

All those bottles

Now what happens?

A landfill builds up

Full of neglected trash

Real trash

Could’ve used that trash again.

But no

Now we need to make new materials

To compensate for your “trash”

More harmful energy

More greenhouse gases

More carbon dioxide emissions

More waste

Putting strain on the Earth’s atmosphere

Day by day

Now it’s a topic all over the news

All over political debates

All over social media

Some advocate to end it

Some advocate to worry about other problems

It’s endless

Do you still care about the preppy girl?

The naggy teacher?

Or can we finally attempt to preserve our precious lives?

Just a little longer..
