This Saturday we are delighted to be streaming and recording audio as part of Neighbourhood Noise, an open invitation for the community to experience live music and experimental arts programming by Arts Merri-bek partners Next Wave, the Counihan Gallery and Composite. Radio Composite will live stream Percussion, Conversation, Degustation from 1:30-4:30pm
Percussion, Conversation, Degustation is part of an ongoing series of improvisational music and cross-artform performance that integrates elements of food, participatory discussion and live music. Speak Percussion artists will lead participants through an interactive workshop, followed by a performance and lively conversation between Dure Dura and Matisse Laida.
In the Studio at the Brunswick Mechanics Institute we will be recording aural histories in collaboration with the De Tempore Podcast! In the De Tempore Podcast, host Banda sits down with a guests to ask them to give me some memories that they’d like to put into this time capsule (AKA the podcast episode).
