Welcome to 8th Grade English Language Arts (ELA)!

Hello scholars!

I am very excited to help you reach your English Language Arts goals this year. I was born and raised on the East Coast (Maryland/Delaware), and recently moved to San Antonio during the summer of 2019. I am still learning about San Antonio and Texas culture; it is an amazing city and the state is much larger than Maryland and Delaware combined! I have a Masters in Secondary Education (6th-12th grade), and I have been teaching English Language Arts for four years. My students are my family, and I can't wait to make you a part of it! When I am not teaching, I enjoy swimming, eating at new restaurants, and spending time with my family (including my super adorable yellow lab, Carson)!
