Library materials are to be checked out at the circulation desk for a period of two weeks. Students are permitted to check out two materials at a time. (12th grade students will be permitted to check out up to four materials at a time for senior project use.)
Any student with overdue library materials will not be permitted to check out new items.
Lost or damaged library materials must be replaced at the student’s expense. Any student with a lost or damaged item will not be permitted to check out new items until the replacement fee has been paid.
All K-4 classes visit the library once per week for a lesson and book checkout. Other classes or groups may be scheduled to use the library on a regular basis. Any teacher who wishes to bring a small group or class to the library for a lesson, research or other use is asked to contact the library staff in advance for availability.
Library use is limited to book selection / circulation and work on class assignments. Computers and printing are available for educational use only, and all students must abide by the school’s Acceptable Use Policy.
Before School
High School students may visit the library before school between 7:45 and 8:00 am. Students must check in at the circulation desk with a pink pass signed by their teacher and the High School office staff.
After School
Students in grades 7-12 may visit the library after school between 3 and 3:45 pm (1-1:45 pm on “B” schedule days). Students in grades 7-8 must present a pink pass signed by their teacher. Students in grades K-6 may be permitted to visit the library after school only with parental permission and when accompanied by High School sibling.
