The Conference will be held within the University of Palermo Campus in the modern building 19. Participants will join parallel sessions and sponsor exhibitions during the conference .
Palermo Falcone e Borsellino airport (http://www.gesap.it/en/), also known as Punta Raisi, is located 19 miles (32 kilometres) west of the city centre. It is served by flag-carrier and low-cost airlines, including Alitalia, AirFrance, KLM, Lufthansa, British Airways, EasyJet, Ryanair, Volotea, MistralAir, Iberia, Vueling, Luxair, and Aeroflot.
Buses leave from Palermo airport to city center every half hour, from 6.30am to 12pm; the journey takes 40 minutes, and one way ticket costs €6.50. In alternative, taxi cost is about €35-€45; the Trinacria Express Train, which leaves every 30 minutes from the airport to city center, costs €6.50 one way.
Palermo has the best value accommodation compared with most European cities, from stylish hotel where you can stay in comfort to traditional bed and breakfast providing delightful Sicilian food in the morning.
