Mr. Chair, words describing Secretary Boying: no nonsense leader, hardworking, straightforward, magaling, hindi nang-iiwan, mabuting tao, mabuting kaibigan, a person with strong political will, traits of a strong leader. For sure, Secretary Boying will strengthen the judicial or justice system in our country. Sabi matapang. Alam ko po isang taong matapang para labanan ang mga mali, pero isang taong mabuti, mabait para tulungan ang mga nangangailangan.
I fully support the ad interim appointment of Secretary Boying, Mr. Chair.

Mr. Chair, I fully support the confirmation of Secretary Benhur, a brilliant lawyer, successful MMDA Chairman and many, many more. Nakasama ko po siya sa ULAP when I was the Chairman of the League of Provinces.
That's why on the part of the Majority, Mr. Chair, we fully support the ad interim appointment of Secretary Abalos.

Mr. Chair, on the part of the Majority, we support the nomination of Ms. Mylene Garcia-Albano, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Japan, with the salary and emoluments of a Chief of Mission. I will -- pipigilan ko na lang po ang sarili ko to say things about Rod but all I can say is, the Philippines is in good hands with Ambassador Mylene.

The tourism industry will be in good hands under Secretary Frasco.
On the part of the Majority, again, we support the ad interim appointment of Ma. Esperanza Christina Codilla Frasco as Secretary, Department of Tourism.

Mr. Chair, before I reiterate the motion, I’d just like to manifest that the Department of Trade and Industry is close to my heart. In our family, my father used to be the Minister of Trade under the administration of Pres. Ferdinand Marcos, Sr. My mother used to be the Undersecretary of Trade under the administration of former Erap – former Pres. Erap Estrada. And prior to my entry in public service, I was an exporter, enjoined and supported all of the DTIs trade promotions abroad.
So, under the leadership of Secretary Roque we are confident that all the trust, support of the DTI will be fully accomplished.
