In this volatile post of VFA ear, let me just recall what Sen. Grace Poe said, the  American who said that the best Filipino is in fact a Filipina.  We have here Luzviminda Almazan Camacho, who’s likely has a series of  first:     the first Filipina to lead the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Haiti; she was also the first woman Commanding Officer of a naval ship; she is the first female Commodore in the entire Philippine Navy.

Today, there are three Generals: from the Nursing Corps,  from  the Army, and one from the Air Force.     With our great archipelago,   always in its beleaguered state,   let me therefore endorse the promotion of Commodore Camacho to General as the representative of the Philippine Navy.    Hence, we have the pride of Bayambang, Pangasinan, now as part of us.
