Mr. Chair and esteemed colleagues, I rise to second the motion to give its consent to nominations and confirm the ad interim appointments of twenty-four (24) Foreign Service Officials in the Department of Foreign Affairs.

These nominees and appointees have demonstrated competence, professionalism, and dedication in the performance of their duties.  Their years of service in the Foreign Service attest to their readiness to assume greater responsibilities in representing and advancing the interests of the Republic of the Philippines. 

Our diplomats are often the first line of contact between the Philippines and the world.  The confirmation of these officials ensures continuity in the conduct of our foreign policy and the protection of our Nationals overseas.

Therefore, I hereby second the consent to the nominations and confirm  the ad interim appointments of the twenty-four (24) Foreign Service Officials in the Department of Foreign Affairs.

Good afternoon esteemed colleagues, I rise to second the confirmation of the ad interim appointment of Atty. Sharon S. Garin as Secretary of the Department of Energy.  Secretary Garin brings with her the legislative experience and policy grounding necessary to address these challenges in a manner consistent with the Department's mandate.

I am confident that under her stewardship, the Department will continue to safeguard the welfare of consumers while laying the groundwork for a more sustainable and competitive energy future for the country.

Therefore, I hereby second the confirmation of the ad interim appointment of Atty. Sharon S. Garin as Secretary of the Department of Energy.

Good afternoon esteemed colleagues, I stand today to second the confirmation of the ad interim appointment of Mr. Henry Rhoel Aguda as Secretary of Information and Communications Technology.

Secretary Aguda's background in technology and management equips him to build on existing initiatives while introducing reforms that will widen access, improve services, and safeguard the systems on which government and the public now increasingly rely. His leadership comes at a critical moment when resilience and adaptability in the digital sphere are essential to national progress.

Therefore, I hereby second the confirmation of Mr. Henry Rhoel Aguda as Secretary of the Department of Information and Communications Technology.

Mr. President and distinguished colleagues, I hereby second the motion confirming the ad interim appointments of the five (5) officials in the Department of Foreign Affairs.  Their long years of dedicated service, marked by competence, discretion, and patriotism, reflect the very qualities expected of those who represent our nation before the global community.

Their appointments affirm our confidence in the professionalism of the Philippine Foreign Service and in their capacity to advance our national interests with integrity and wisdom.

As such, I second the consent and confirmation of the nomination and ad interim appointments of the five (5) officials in the Department of Foreign Affairs.

These officers remain pillars of discipline and leadership within our defense establishment.  In a time of evolving challenges and heightened demands on our institutions, their professionalism and sense of duty serve as both an anchor and an assurance of continuity.  

I likewise commend Brig. Gen. Ronnie Castillo Cabingas of Manaoag Pangasinan and also Gen. Ronald Molina Bautista assigned to the Camp Tito Abat in Manaoag Pangasinan.  Their exemplary service brings pride and distinction to the province.

With that, I respectfully second the confirmation of the ad interim appointments of the 27 Officers of the Department of National Defense.

Therefore, I second the motion confirming the ad interim appointments of the seventy (70) General and Senior Officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
