Seconding speech for the consent of the appointments and for the confirmation of the ad interim appointments of twenty-four (24) Officials in the Department of Foreign Affairs
Plenary Session No. 02, First Regular Session
These seasoned, well-respected diplomats, through the years, have exemplified highly professional, and self-sacrificing quality of public service in the field of foreign relations. These dignified men and women of the DFA are the sturdy buffer zones of our kababayans all over the world, as they navigate challenging lives in foreign lands.
I join this august Chamber in extending our warmest congratulations to our DFA officials, and wish them success in their journey ahead.
Thank you, Mr. Chairman, and good afternoon.

Seconding speech for the confirmation of the ad interim appointments of twenty (20) Generals/Flag Officers and Senior Officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP)
*(submitted in writing)
Plenary Session No. 02, First Regular Session
With deepest faith in the Almighty, may your journey ahead be meaningful, as you offer your sacrifices for our country and people.
Congratulations!
Thank you, Mr. Chairman.
