Mr. Chairman, esteemed colleagues:
It is my privilege to second the motion for the confirmation of the 39 Generals, Flag Officers, and Senior Officers before us today. Their elevation to higher responsibility is a testament to their years of faithful service, their proven leadership in the field, and their unyielding loyalty to the Republic.
At a time when our nation continues to face evolving security challenges, whether from external threats, internal insurgency, or natural calamities, the caliber of leadership that these officers bring is vital. Their track record of discipline, dedication, and sacrifice assures us that the Armed Forces will remain strong, adaptive, and reliable.
By confirming their appointments, we not only recognize their individual merit but also reinforce our confidence in the institution they represent. These officers will undoubtedly continue to serve as pillars of honor and protectors of peace for our people.
Thus, Mr. Chairman, I wholeheartedly second their confirmation.

Mr. Chair, distinguished colleagues, good morning.
It is my honor to second the motion to confirm the appointment of Justice Jose Catral Mendoza as Member of the Judicial and Bar Council, representing the Retired Justices of the Supreme Court, for a term expiring on July 9, 2029.
Justice Mendoza's exemplary record in the judiciary speaks for itself. His years on the Supreme Court bench were marked by wisdom, integrity, and a steadfast dedication to the rule of law.
Among his many contributions to jurisprudence, he penned the landmark decision upholding key provisions of the Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive Health Act, a ruling that balanced constitutional principles with compassion for the Filipino family.
In these times when public confidence in institutions must continually be earned, the appointment of Justice Jose Catral Mendoza assures us that our Judicial and Bar Council remains in capable and principled hands.
