Columbus Academy hosts a dedicated Wi-Fi network named "CA Auth" for our faculty and staff-issued devices. You can log in to the "CA Auth" network using your CA account username - usually your lastname + first initial (e.g."CoolJ" for Mr. Joe Cool; Do not use your CA email address) and CA account password.
We also host divisional Wi-Fi networks, namely "CA Lower/Middle/Upper", which are meant to serve centrally-managed school devices - such as student-issued iPads, Apple TVs, and loaner MacBooks from the US Library. Connections to divisional Wi-Fi networks are managed by the CA Tech Office and should not be used for manual connections by users.
For visitors to the school, the CA Tech Office hosts a throttled (i.e. it transfers data at a slower speed) Wi-Fi network called "CA Guest". Due to the lower performance and other traffic restrictions applied to this network, we do not recommend connecting CA school computers or iPads to this network. If you have added the "CA Guest" network on your CA-issued computer or iPad in the past, here are the steps you can follow to remove that Wi-Fi network from your device (as recommended by Apple Support):
