AFS-USA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, works to build a more just and peaceful world through international education and exchange. Project: Change encourages youth to imagine and build a more sustainable world, one community at a time. Because that’s what changemakers do. They use their compassion to understand the challenges others face, and help create new ways to face those challenges, together. They are not lone heroes. Changemakers are collaborators, friends, and allies. They work with communities, not for them. They empower everyone to be a changemaker. In this changemaking spirit, 8th to 12th grade students are invited to propose a project idea that works toward one (or a few) of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals in a relevant country in the AFS Global Prep network.

The exclusive ISSOS summer school program offers high school students from over 70 nationalities (aged 13-18) the opportunity to combine learning, creative enrichment and action-packed adventure in one of three amazing, historic and picturesque university towns of St Andrews, Cambridge and Yale. Our three week program welcomes students from all over the world, mixing native and non-native English speakers and limits the number of students from one nationality to 10% in order to guarantee a truly international experience.

{Leysin American School in Switzerland} LAS Summer
LAS summer allows students to create a program that is tailored to their personal interests and aspirations. Students are invited to select from one of three morning programs: the Language program, Academic program, or Sports program. Programs are followed by clubs, afternoon activities, and evening socials, each of which uniquely provide opportunities for students to meet other campers from outside their program, be active, participate in team-building activities, and exercise their creativity. Oxbridge Academic Programs
Oxbridge Academic Programs has been offering summer study opportunities to adventurous students in grades 8-12 for over 30 years. We are based in some of the world's best universities, and in historically and culturally significant cities, across the UK, Europe, and America. You can choose two subjects - a major and a minor - from a range of more than 200 subjects. As we enter our 34th year in the summer teen tour and travel market, our program options have steadily grown to include Teen Tours, Community Service Programs and Golf & Service in California. With these offerings, our commitment to Rein travelers and their families is as strong as ever. Norman Rein and the Rein Team have scouted and visited every new location, both domestic and international. This has allowed us to be hands-on with choosing our accommodations, community service projects, activities and meals on all our programs.
{Rotary Youth Exchange} Short-Term Exchange Program
Short-Term Family-to-Family Exchange Program presents opportunities for students to advance their knowledge and world understanding by allowing them to visit a different country for a limited period of time. Participating students live with a matched host family in their selected country for four weeks in the summer under the sponsorship of a local Rotary Club. The objective of the Family-to-Family Exchange Program is to foster world peace, international understanding and good will by extending international communication at the personal level through the exchange of students of high school age. It is our hope that these students will be able to see firsthand the problems and accomplishments of other peoples of different colors, languages and cultures.

{Smithsonian Student Travel} On-Campus Summer Program
Embark on a transformative adventure this summer in the nation’s capital, where history, culture, and science come alive. On this week-long high school program, join like-minded and intellectually curious peers in Washington, D.C., home to 19 of the Smithsonian’s most distinguished museums, cultural institutions, and research centers, for insider experiences that access the vast resources the Smithsonian has to offer. Based on a centrally located campus, focus on a seminar of your choosing and explore relevant, compelling topics and themes through the Smithsonian lens. Complement your seminar experience with field visits to world-renowned museums, galleries, and research facilities, engage with subject-matter experts, professional educators, historians, guides, and curators, and go in-depth with your chosen theme. With the nation’s capital as your classroom and a treasure trove of Smithsonian knowledge at your disposal, unearth history, discover unexpected connections, and draw your own conclusions. Smithsonian Student Travel enables high school students to deepen their knowledge and cultural awareness of the world through immersive travel and D.C.-based summer programs. Alongside like-minded peers, experienced trip leaders, and local Smithsonian Student Travel experts, students participate in engaging, educational, and adventurous activities as they experience the world through the Smithsonian lens. Student Journeys are themed traveling programs with itineraries in the U.S. and abroad. Ranging from 14 to 24 days, students engage with their program theme while gaining a deeper understanding of the history, culture, cuisine, language, and environment of their destination.

{World Learning} Youth Ambassadors Program
The Youth Ambassadors Program brings together high school students and adult mentors from across the Western Hemisphere to promote mutual understanding, increase leadership skills, and prepare youth to make a difference in their communities. Exchange subthemes include human rights, multiculturalism, social justice, and social transformation. These three-week exchanges are sponsored by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, U.S. Department of State.
