Blueprint is offering an exciting new Pre-College 4 Day Intensive at Texas A&M, California State Fullerton and Xavier University Louisiana. The Pre-College Summer Session provides high school students with the unique opportunity to take summer courses offered by Carnegie Mellon for credit.
Students earn college credit while working in an academic setting that mirrors the supportive, rigorous environment of the first year of college. Every summer, Summer Session offers approximately two dozen courses from academic disciplines across the university. Successful Summer Session students leverage their experiences to demonstrate their ability to succeed in college, and have the potential to receive college credit for the coursework at Carnegie Mellon and other institutions that accepts the credit.
{Case Western Reserve University} Summer Session
With over 100 undergraduate and graduate courses in the College of Arts and Sciences, Case School of Engineering, and Weatherhead School of Management, the CWRU Summer Session is a great opportunity to catch up or get ahead. CWRU and visiting students can study abroad and complete a course immersed in an international setting, including: Cuba, France, or Italy. Or enjoy a CWRU Summer on campus and concentrate on one or more intensive courses. Planning for a pre-health career? We will have the full range of biology core courses in 2020. Students can also complete a full year of introductory chemistry, organic chemistry, or physics in back-to-back sessions. The CWRU Summer Session is also a great opportunity to save money. Centenary Summer Scholars features pre-college summer programs for rising 8th through 12th grade students. Located in Hackettstown, New Jersey, Centenary University provides a fun and creative learning space in which students can make the most of our wonderful resources. Our majors are a great way to experience the University environment. This year we have a great slate of courses for those students who want to learn more and explore their future careers, to go with last year’s new course AP Biology/Pre-Med which is for students who are interested in a science or medical career as well as for students who have taken one of our science programs in previous summers. Our summer scholars program allows students to explore their academic passions. We introduce subjects that school may not offer, while encouraging students to experiment with classes as they begin to consider their college major. Our pre-college summer programs also feature fun structured events outside of class.

{Columbia University} Academic Year Weekend
For ten weekends, 9–12 grade students in the Academic Year Weekend Program will study their choice of over 20 courses in an engaging and lively virtual classroom. Before morning classes and during break, they can connect with peers from all over the world in activities designed to help them to be as prepared as possible for the college experience.
Special opportunities create an even more enriching online experience. Students can participate in virtual clubs, for example, or get to know a core group of peers and receive mentoring support from a Student Life Intern by signing up for a Digital Community Group.
{Columbia University} Summer Immersion: New York City
Established in 1986, Columbia University's Summer Program for High School Students offers high-achieving students the opportunity to experience college life in the Ivy League while enjoying the vibrancy of New York City. Open to students entering grades 9 through 12 and freshman year of college, the program combines academic rigor and instructional excellence with lively extracurricular offerings and careful supervision and support. Participants select one curricular option per session for an in-depth examination of a specific subject area. Classes meet twice each day for two-hour sessions where students refine their academic skills through a variety of activities—class discussions, debates, simulations, individual and group projects, and more. Camp 4 Scholars at Kenyon (formerly known as SKAP, the Summer Kenyon Academic Partnership) has been helping students to reach their full scholastic potential since 1987. This intensive academic enrichment program offers high school students a three-week opportunity to work with superb college professors and to experience college life first-hand. Formerly aimed at providing Ohio students supplemental academic practice, Camp 4 is now open to students nationwide. Camp 4 Scholars is open to both rising seniors and juniors. The program uses the disciplines of neuroscience, history, English composition and the visual arts to develop critical thinking, reading, writing, and oral presentation skills. {Ohio State University} Buckeye Precollege Summer Institute
Launching in summer 2023, Buckeye Precollege Summer Institutes will offer academically ambitious and intellectually curious high school students the opportunity to participate in a two-week residential academic program designed to give them a taste of college life and prepare them for the road ahead.
Students will live in campus residence halls and participate in a single course specially designed by Ohio State instructors for precollege students. They will be overseen by a team of undergraduate and graduate Residential Counselors, who serve a dual role as residential assistants and academic tutors.
In addition to their core course, participants will also join daily workshops on the college admissions process, college-level study skills, and other content designed to help demystify the transition from high school to college. Evenings and weekends will offer social and recreational activities in the residence hall, on the Ohio State campus, and around central Ohio.

The Arts and Sciences Summer Exploration program offers middle and high school students one-week intensive enrichment courses intended to introduce them to new areas of study or allow them to engage in content they may already have an interest in. In-person classes meet from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and are taught by Ohio State faculty, staff, and graduate students. {Skidmore College} Pre-College Program
Pre-College students may enroll in any foundation-level liberal or studio art course offered as part of Skidmore’s Summer Session for college students. Skidmore’s unique curriculum allows students to take either two studio art courses, two liberal arts courses or one of each. Offerings include a wide range of courses drawn from the humanities, social and natural sciences; studio art courses and workshops; and special topics courses from diverse disciplines that provide singular experiences. In addition to the courses that carry standard Skidmore credit, generally transferable to any other college or university, students who wish to investigate the studio arts without the pressure of grades may enroll in non-credit workshops.

{The Joyce Ivy Foundation} Summer Scholars
The Summer Scholars program provides scholarships for talented female high school students to participate in a summer academic program at one of our partner programs – some of the most rigorous and selective colleges and universities in the country. Scholars receive a full or partial scholarships, based on demonstrated financial need, to cover tuition, room and board, travel expenses, and supplies. The Joyce Ivy Foundation works directly with our set of program partners to combine Joyce Ivy scholarships with additional financial aid provided by the summer program.

Academic Connections provides an opportunity for high school students with a 3.3 (or above) weighted cumulative GPA to get a jump start on the college experience. We invite students to explore the best UCSD has to offer. In Session I, students choose one of approximately 25, three-week courses offered. Classes meet five hours a day, with a maximum of 22 students per class, to ensure quality interaction with instructors and instructional assistants. Academic Connections instructors are typically UCSD doctoral students who design and instruct the course. This engaging combination brings freshness and excitement to the classes.

The Black College Institute is a 5-day academic summer enrichment program at Virginia Tech's main campus in Blacksburg. This program invites talented, high achieving and intellectually curious rising high school juniors and seniors from Virginia and other states.
{W.E.B. Du Bois Scholars Institute} Scholars Summer Institute
Our curriculum structure is based on the philosophical assumption that self-knowledge, motivation, good skills, and an interest in the well-being of others are essential for effective leadership and academic success. For all seven academies, the courses emphasize time management, collaborative learning, critical thinking and problem solving. The important elements of effective leadership and community service are emphasized across the curriculum. The average class size is 12 students. Scholars, rising 10th, 11th and 12th graders, participate in one of five academies, including the Management and Business, Leadership, Engineering, Pre-Med/Neuroscience, or Talented Tenth Academy. These Scholars receive five weeks of instruction in university level courses. Classes meet Monday through Thursday, with each class meeting every other day for 120 minutes. Students are in class from 8:00am to 4:50pm.
