Established in 1993, Adventure Treks has earned a reputation as one of the most professional organizations in the outdoor adventure field. From one trip in the Pacific Northwest our first year to 20 trips across North America today, we’ve created memorable and life-changing outdoor experiences for more than 18,000 students.
{Broadreach} Global Education Adventures
Join a small group of teens your age and set off to places like Costa Rica, Peru, the Caribbean or even Fiji. Broadreachers venture to every corner of the planet to sail and scuba dive, study sharks, master languages, preserve fragile ecosystems and help local communities thrive. Camp Canopy
A summer camp like no other, Camp Canopy is the perfect mix of traditional camp activities – like hanging out around the campfire, breaking a leg in the talent show and dancing the night away with your fellow campers-turned-BFFs – AND educational activity sessions centered around all things forestry and wildlife, to keep your brains as sharp as a pine needle during the summer months.

High Mountain Institute
Are you ready for an adventurous summer in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado? The HMI Summer Term unites wilderness expeditions, intentional community, and engaging place-based education in our unique setting of Leadville, Colorado. On two backcountry expeditions, students learn wilderness travel skills and develop personal connections to each other and to nature. While on HMI’s campus, students engage in a community of shared responsibility, resulting in friendships and memories that last a lifetime. Through field classes and engaging projects, students explore sense of place, leadership, and environmental ethics. At the end of 5 weeks, students leave HMI inspired by the natural world and ready to dive into their next year of high school with confidence and curiosity.

Mountain Camp
Mountain Camp is a traditional co-ed summer overnight camp for campers entering 2nd – 12th grades. One of the premier summer camps in California, we are located near Lake Tahoe on the beautiful shore of Ice House Lake in the Eldorado National Forest.
National Outdoor Leadership School
Challenge yourself to lead a team, face adversity, and savor the relationships formed in the wild. A NOLS expedition is your opportunity to practice leadership skills as you learn to navigate in a remote wilderness. With instructors who know how to make the wilderness a classroom and our time-tested curriculum, you’ll find your strengths as a leader.
{National Park Service} Youth Conservation Corps
The United States Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) is a summer youth employment program that engages young people in meaningful work experiences on national parks, forests, wildlife refuges, and fish hatcheries while developing an ethic of environmental stewardship and civic responsibility. YCC programs are generally 8 to 10 weeks and members are paid the minimum wage for a 40-hour work week.
Outward Bound
With 11 schools across the country, Outward Bound offers challenging learning expeditions in remote wilderness settings and shorter courses closer to home.

{Student Conservation Association} National Crews
SCA’s National Crews offer you a chance to visit places you’ve never seen before, camping with your crew members in the field to enjoy nature at its best. You’ll be building trails, conserving vital habitats, and protecting natural resources for future generations. National Crews will also set you on the path to other SCA opportunities, like Conservation Internships and team-based Corps positions.
{Texas Brigades} Summer Programs
Texas Brigades is a collection of wildlife and natural resource-focused leadership development programs for youth. Besides our W.I.L.D. and Experience programs, we have our popular 5-day summer camp programs: Bobwhite Brigades (Rolling Plains and South Texas), Buckskin Brigades (North Texas and South Texas), Bass Brigade, Waterfowl Brigade, Ranch Brigade, and Coastal Brigade. Cadets are introduced to habitat management, honing their communication skills, and development of a land ethic. The state’s leading wildlife and fisheries biologists and land managers serve as instructors and mentors. Our mission is to educate and empower youth with leadership skills and knowledge in wildlife, fisheries, and land stewardship to become conservation ambassadors for a sustained natural resource legacy across Texas.
U.S. Brig Niagra Sailing Program
The U.S. Brig Niagra's cornerstone curriculum is its live-aboard sail training program. Open to anyone aged 14 or over, Niagra's itineraries include programs specifically designed for high school students, college students and adults of any age.

Williwaw Adventures
For over 15 years, Williwaw has created summer adventures for teens. We focus on creating a fun and positive small-group experience that fosters leadership skills and encourages our participants to challenge themselves. We offer expeditions to students ages 13 to 18 in New England, the Pacific Northwest and California. Our small groups are led by two of our dynamic and exceptional leaders that help create a safe and meaningful wilderness experience. Our goal is to have our students finish their expedition with a sense of accomplishment, self confidence and a stronger sense of themselves.
