{Boston University} Academy of Media Production
This four-week workshop presents the opportunity to explore the many aspects of media production while developing the skills needed to be a successful storyteller. AMP students learn the power of good writing and visual storytelling by creating videos, short films, webcasts, multi-camera productions, and more. This on-campus, live-in college program gives students the tools to pursue all facets of media production, while collaborating with like-minded students, making new friends, and having a life-changing summer experience in the heart of Boston.

{Bowling Green State University} Media Production Camp
BGSU Media Production Camp is for rising 9th to 12th grade students who are interested in studio and video film production, audio recording and editing, and radio broadcasting and podcasting. Experience a hands-on, unique learning opportunity with state-of-the-art equipment and world-class educators. Students will get to spend time in the newly renovated Kuhlin Center which is the home for the School of Media and Communication. Inside this building, students will actively participate in the video and audio production suites with advanced technology equipment. Students will get the chance to control manual and robotic cameras from a "live reporting" space. Green screens along the walls and floors of the different staging areas to allow students to produce a background fit for their production. The audio production studio incorporates a “floating floor” concept that offers top-quality soundproofing and sound-shaping. This assists students in music production and offers an isolation booth for drum sets or voice-over audio work.
{Junior State of America} Burd Institute on Media & Politics
The 2020 Burd Institute will focus students on crafting solid editorial content for various mediums. The program includes opportunities for: Networking with young people from across California and the country who are dedicated to making a difference in their communities and the world at large; Learning and interacting with various digital mediums from accomplished experts in their field; Gaining practical real-world knowledge through conversations and networking with like-minded students and leaders from a broad array of roles and sectors; Engaging in reflective activities to gain insight into communication styles, strengths, and development opportunities

Calling all students interested in radio, television, journalism and public relations! With support of faculty and student mentors, you'll create a digital portfolio throughout this weeklong program. Attend daily workshops and seminars led by media professionals and SU faculty and produce a live, one-hour radio broadcast. Learn the art of on-air interviewing, unleash the power of Adobe Creative Suite, use production and editing software, and practice journalistic writing and formats.

{Susquehanna University} SportsNOW: Kick Off Your Sports Media Career
Would you like to work as a sports reporter on TV or radio, or as a journalist covering sports for a website? Have you ever thought about working for a sports team behind the scenes, promoting its players and coaches on social media and other platforms? If any of these careers sound interesting to you, then join us for a week-long summer experience for high school students focused on exploring the world of sports media and promotions. Get behind the mic, open your notebook and let your creativity run wild as you learn what it’s like to work in the fun, fast-paced sports communications industry. You’ll gain hands-on experience in sports writing, radio announcing and on-camera interviewing, in addition to learning how to create sports-related promotional material and public relations strategies. Sports media is an ultra-competitive field, so get a leg up this summer by starting to build a skill set that will help you take it to the next level when it’s time for college and beyond.
