今後のサタデースクールについて/ Plan for Saturday School this year

政府による公立の小中学校の休校要請に準じ、コロンビアインターナショナルスクールも来週から臨時休業に入ることになりました。そのため、３月７日（土）のサタデースクールも残念ながら休校となります。

明日(29日)のサタデースクールは予定通り開校いたします。また、急ではありますが３月７日に予定していたミニショーを明日(29日)に前倒しで開催することに致しました。生徒たちはこの１学期間、練習を重ね、ほぼ完成に近い仕上がりになっているので、彼らにパフォーマンスの機会を与えたいと思います。

ただ、政府から大規模イベントの開催自粛の要請がきておりますので、ご家族の観覧は残念ながらお断りさせていただきます。ショーを撮影したものを後日、皆様に配信いたしますので、そちらでお子様のパフォーマンスをご覧いただきますようお願い致します。

なお、いつも通りランチを持ってきてください。学校からの提供はございません。

このような形で2019年度を終えるのはとても心苦しいです。保護者の皆様の温かいご理解とご支援に感謝申し上げます。この１年、皆さんと一緒に楽しい英語学習環境を築けましたことを大変嬉しく思います。本当にありがとうございました。

Following the government request to close public schools all over Japan, Columbia International School has decided to close the school next week. Thus the Saturday School class on March 7th will regrettably be closed.

We will open the school tomorrow (2/29) as usual. Also this is sudden news but we have decided to present the Mini Show tomorrow. It was a difficult decision but we want students to have an opportunity to perform as they have put a lot of effort into practicing this term.

However, the government has requested that large gatherings not occur, therefore, we regret that the show will be held without an audience. We will film the show and send you the link later so that you can watch your child perform.

Please bring home lunch tomorrow like you usually do as the school will not provide lunch .

We regret ending Saturday School 2019 this way. We would like to express our appreciation to the parents and guardians for your warm support and understanding this year and in this situation. Saturday School 2019 was a great year that saw our students grow in confidence using English. Again, thank you for your support this year.

(Information on tuition refund for March 7th will be sent to you with the report card.)
