聽說小孩天真無邪，最能與動物、大自然， 甚至宇宙或神溝通。聖經裡不乏對小孩的肯定和愛。如路加福音18：16-17

「 有人抱著自己的嬰孩來見耶穌，要他摸他們，門徒看見就責備那些人。耶穌卻叫他們來，說：「讓小孩子到我這裡來，不要禁止他們，因為在神國的，正是這樣的人。我實在告訴你們：凡要承受神國的，若不像小孩子，斷不能進去。 」

每個人曾經都是小孩，為甚麼轉眼間自己會變得複雜、心胸窄、脾氣壞、沒同情心同理心、冷漠、暴躁、自私、貪婪和懶惰？常言道「世界就像個染缸」, 白紙掉進去是很難不被染黑。我渴望自己再能成為小孩，染黑了就自覺地爬起來洗刷一番。 不是因為想死後往天國，而是希望在地上的每一刻，都可以更好的享受生命，讓世界洋溢更多的愛。

It is said that children are pure and so can best communicate with Nature, animals, and even with the Universe or God. In the Bible there is a lot of affirmation and love for children.  I quote one example:

"16 But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 17 Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” (Luke 18:16-17)

When we say “children”, it is as if we are directing to someone else. But we were once children! Since when we have all of a sudden become narrow-minded, bad-tempered, unsympathetic, indifferent, irritable, selfish, greedy and lazy? There is a Chinese saying, "The world is a tank filled with dye." It is difficult for any white sheet not to get dyed if it is soaked inside. The longer it is, the darker it will be. How I wish I could become a white sheet again. If it is not possible, I hope I will have the awareness to go wash the dye off myself from time to time. It is nothing to do with wanting to enter the heaven after death.  It is simply because I believe this is the way I can be connected again and I can enjoy life to the fullest. The world will also be a better place to live if more people are aware of it.   

Se dice que los niños son puros y por eso pueden comunicarse mejor con la Naturaleza, los animales e incluso con el Universo o Dios. En la Biblia se confirma este amor por los niños. Cito un ejemplo:

"Pero Jesús, llamando a los niños, les dijo: Dejad que los niños vengan a mí, y no se lo impidáis, porque el Reino de los Cielos pertenecerá a quién sea como ellos.  De verdad os digo, que cualquiera que no quiera recibir el reino de Dios como un niño, nunca entrará en él”. (Lucas 18:16-17)

Cuando decimos “niños”, es como si nos dirigiéramos a otra persona. ¡Pero una vez fuimos niños! ¿Desde cuándo nos hemos convertido, de repente, en criaturas complejas, de mente estrecha, de mal carácter, antipáticas, indiferentes, irritables, egoístas, codiciosas y perezosas? Hay un proverbio chino que dice: "El mundo es un tanque lleno de tinta". Es difícil que una sábana blanca no se tiña si se empapa en su interior. Cuanto más tiempo sea, más oscura será. Cómo desearía poder volver a ser una sábana blanca de nuevo. Si no es posible, espero tener la conciencia lúcida para ir a lavarme la tinta de vez en cuando. Esto no tiene nada que ver con querer entrar en el cielo después de la muerte. Es simplemente porque creo que esta es la única manera en la que puedo conectarme nuevamente y disfrutar de la vida al máximo. El mundo también será un lugar mejor para vivir si más personas son conscientes de ello.
