the four seasons

Large Butterfly - Raffle Butterfly

“When I think of Colorado, I think of the Four Seasons… so, I wanted to express Spring with Colorado flowers, Summer with blue skies and the mountains, the Fall with Aspen leaves and Winter with snow and snowflakes.”

Why FLIGHT? “I believe art is vital to a child’s development and self-esteem. Art improves a child’s self –discipline while providing a creative outlet.”

Susan graduated from Forest Hill High School in Jackson MS. She moved to Colorado Springs in 1990 with her husband and two children. Susan has worked in the field of art, most of her adult life as an airbrush artist and graphic design artist. She has been a sign painter, screen printer and mural artist as well as a t-shirt art designer for several companies in Mississippi and in Colorado Springs.

In 2015, she enrolled at Pike Peak Community College to acquire her Associates Degree in Studio Art and will graduate in the fall of 2017. She plans to continue to obtain a Bachelor’s of Fine Art and ultimately a Master’s in Fine Art.
