  1. The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is a top tier public research university in the United States. We offer research involvement, even beginning from your first year on campus. Our UCARE program offers the rare chance for undergraduate students to be paid for the research they are doing while working closely with a professor. Our research is not limited to the sciences and includes majors across campus, from English to Political Science to Environmental Studies.

  2. While still a college town at heart, Lincoln is a medium sized city of over 280,000 people, one of the largest in the Big10 conference. It offers the opportunities of a large city in terms of jobs and internship opportunities, while keeping that smaller, Midwestern college town feel. Conveniently located 7-8 hours drive or an hour and a half flight from Denver, students are able to visit home easily.

  3. The community on and off of campus is astounding. Nebraska "nice" is an extremely accurate depiction of the kind of treatment students, professors and staff provide one another. While hard to sum up campus culture in a short space, friendliness is not in short supply at Nebraska. With over 500+ registered student organizations and 150+ majors, there is something for everyone to find a home with on campus.
