High-Speed Digital Design Group, Electrical Engineering Department, University of Colorado, Boulder
Welcome! I am a graduate student in the Electrical Engineering department at the University of Colorado Boulder. I am working with high speed digital design group lead by Prof. Bogatin and Prof. Piket-May for a year. In a broad sense, my interests are Signal and Power integrity, Antennas, and EM Simulations.
I did my undergrad and master’s in electrical engineering in India. I got into RF and electromagnetics while I was doing my master’s, through a government fellowship to work on antenna design. During that time, I worked for a year on the design and development of multiband antennas and published four articles.
From there, as a way to cement my knowledge on the subject, I worked as a lecturer for five years teaching undergrad students basic electronics, electromagnetics, and antenna theory and EM simulations.
Following that, I wanted a chance to apply the knowledge I had gained in academia to real-life challenges, so, I switched to working for ANSYS Inc. as a technical support engineer II. At Ansys, I helped customers to understand the EM Simulations and created knowledge materials and Ansys Innovation courses for HFSS.
While working at Ansys, I got to know signal integrity is a growing field, I wanted to upgrade my skill set in that area, so I came to study at CU Boulder and fortunately got an opportunity to work with a high speed digital design group.
