Summary:

The session started with the introduction of speakers by Lubna Naz. Eric Vance presented a talk on the mission of LISA 2020 and its role in promoting statistics education and motivating women to make statistics a career in developing countries. Atinuke Adebanji presented her research on “Women in STEM, progress, and prospects; the case of a Ghanaian University.” Tonya Esterhuizen presented on “The Role of Statistics in Empowering Women in Developing Countries: The South African Experience.” Adedayo Adepoju discussed the papers/lectures. Lubna Naz thanked all participants and presenters.
