Airport Bus (AB1)

RTD is the public transportation for Denver and the surrounding cities (which includes Boulder). Tickets can be purchased from the RTD app which can be found on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. Cash is also accepted on buses but you must have exact change.

There is a coach bus (the AB1) that goes between the Denver International Airport and Boulder. The cost is $10.50 for the airport bus and the ticket is valid all day for all RTD buses and trains.

The bus from the airport to Boulder, CO picks up under the Westin Hotel outside of the airport's south exit/entrance. To get to the bus:

• Exit the airport through the south exit/entrance.
• Go down the escalators immediately in front of the exit.
• Turn left at the bottom of the escalators (walking away from the train lines).
• The stop for the AB1 will be to the right of the bus parking and will be labeled with signs overhead.

Individuals staying in university accommodations should exit the bus at the Broadway/Euclid stop.

Individuals staying in Boulder hotels should exit the bus at Downtown Boulder Station. Downtown Boulder Station is centrally located in Boulder, from there you can travel to your hotel by local bus (your airport bus ticket will work on all buses that day), ride share, taxi, or walking.
