Visitors are invited to discover and learn about oceans, groundwater, fossils, earthquakes, volcanoes, climate change, and more!

This event will take place in the gallery and café spaces at Level 1 of the JSCBB.

Parking details

If you are coming to campus for the Black and Gold Football Game, visit the Earth Science outreach event as one of your pre-game activities.

Please be aware that parking and traffic will be affected by the football game, so plan accordingly.  Kickoff is at 1:00 PM, and the game will end at about 3:00 PM.

We encourage you to walk, bike, scooter, bus/shuttle, or use Uber/Lyft to attend the outreach event. If you need parking, we recommend coming before 10:00 AM because parking spaces will fill up as the day goes on.

The JSCBB venue has two main parking lots (see map below), the Northwest Lot 543 and the East Lot 548. These two main parking lots have ADA-accessible parking.

Other lots in walking distance to JSCBB include: Lots 511, 515, 532, 544, 553, 556, 560, 576, and 580. You can find a map of CU Boulder parking (with ADA information) by clicking here.

Parking at these lots and all other on-campus parking on this date will be first-come first-serve, cost $10 for the whole day, and must be purchased on-site.

Public street parking is also available in neighborhoods south of the JSCBB.

If you need parking, we recommend coming before 10:00 AM because parking spaces will fill up as the day goes on. To avoid parking all together, we encourage you to walk, bike, scooter, bus/shuttle, or use Uber/Lyft to attend the outreach event.

Entering JSCBB and ADA Access

JSCBB will be accessible via two main entrances, the Southeast Entrance and the West Entrance. Both of these entrances are ADA accessible. Both entrances are identified in the map below

University of Colorado Boulder Land Acknowledgment

The University of Colorado Boulder, Colorado’s flagship university, honors and recognizes the many contributions of Indigenous peoples in our state. CU Boulder acknowledges that it is located on the traditional territories and ancestral homelands of the Cheyenne, Arapaho, Ute and many other Native American nations. Their forced removal from these territories has caused devastating and lasting impacts. While the University of Colorado Boulder can never undo or rectify the devastation wrought on Indigenous peoples, we commit to improving and enhancing engagement with Indigenous peoples and issues locally and globally.
