HIV Education 2019
There will be a parent meeting this Thursday, January 10th, 2019 7-7:45pm at the Collinsville Middle School Library, about the upcoming mandatory HIV education being presented to the 7th and 10th grade students in our district. The presentation will be made March 27th for 7th graders and March 28th for 10th graders. This is a casual opportunity to look over the curriculum to be presented at that time by Samantha Young with Hope Testing. March 27th, 2019 Wednesday
7th Grade students will be presented the mandatory HIV education by Samantha Young with Hope Testing during their Science class in a co-ed environment.
March 28th, 2019 Thursday
10th grade students will be presented the mandatory HIV education by Samantha Young with Hope Testing. The curriculum will be presented with boys and girls segregated. Girls will be presented during 2nd hour, 8:45-9:35. Boys will be presented during 3rd hour 9:40-10:30.

If, after reviewing the educational curriculum, you determine that your student needs to be excused, a letter from a parent or guardian will need to be submitted to the superintendent by March 26th, 2019. Please understand that your student's attendance will still be recorded for that hour, but your student will be moved to an alternate location during our AIDS education unit.
