Help us change the way healthcare is delivered to those most in need.
Every year, there are around 30 million deaths from preventable diseases worldwide due to a lack of equitable healthcare systems and professionals in low income countries. We at Partners in Health Engage (PIHE), a grassroots network of college, high school students and community members across the United States, are committed to helping change this and making healthcare a human right for all.
By participating in this 5k, you are directly contributing to the funding of the Maternal Center of Excellence in Kono (Sierra Leone), which aims to transform the landscape of maternal and child health in the region. As a network, PIHE is seeking to fundraise $140 000 to further the nation's mission of establishing a hub for advanced maternal and child health services to be a beacon of global innovation.
Strides in Solidarity 5k 2024 will take place at the Back Bay Fens on Sunday, April 14th. The run/walk will start at 11 am, so please arrive at least 15 minutes earlier to make sure the event runs smoothly. We will meet at Clemente Field!
