PRESENTATION.

In this presentation I introduce myself to all the students. I share details about where I am from in Florida and California. I talk about activities that I do for fun such as hiking, going to amusement parks, and watching American football with my friends. I share pictures of my cat. After this presentation was finished, I went around the classroom asking questions about the students to get to know them better. The questions were about the students' families, pets, favorite food, and favorite activities.

CHRISTMAS.

Presentation.

During the holiday season, I gave a presentation about Christmas in the USA. We compared the similarities and differences between Christmas in the USA and Spain. I share details about Christmas traditions such as elf on the shelf and ugly christmas sweater competitions. We discussed food, christmas cards, stockings, santa, and christmas movies (grinch, home alone, home alone 2).

Christmas activity.  The 5th and 6th grade students participated in a secret santa christmas card exchange. The students wrote letters to their friends anonymously.  We completed a  Christmas word search. The 4th graders drew funny Christmas sweaters.  For the younger grades, we decorated Christmas trees and hung the drawings outside the classroom.
