At fforest you can choose to get married either indoors or outdoors.  

You may choose to have a  humanist ceremony, a civil ceremony, or both!  fforest holds a licence to host civil ceremonies in a number of locations and as of 2019 civil ceremonies are now able to take place outdoors, increasing the choice of locations around the site.

We recommend that if having a civil ceremony, you contact the registrars to book your time & date at your earliest convenience as they get booked up quickly.  They can be contacted on 01437 775176 or via email at registrar@pembrokeshire.gov.uk. Booking and payment for this service is to be made directly with them.

If you are looking for a humanist wedding, we have a list of celebrants in our fforest folk supplier list.  Alternatively you may have someone in mind that you would like to lead the humanist ceremony.

Confetti

We ask that you do not use confetti as it very difficult for us to remove it all from the land before the next wedding. An alternative might be to have your guests blow bubbles as this usually catches the light and creates a lovely picture, or use dried petal confetti.  

Chinese Lanterns have disturbed grazing cattle in the past and so we have also stopped allowing these as well as fireworks.

The above restrictions are measures put in place as fforest is a farm and we don’t want to upset the permanent residents, the animals! We hope that you don’t mind and that you very much enjoy your time with us.

Something we must insist on

The cancellation of a wedding is not something that is ever taken lightly and normally only happens in the most stressful of situations. Please therefore ensure that you have sufficient cover so that at least you will not suffer a financial loss if you find yourselves in such a situation.
