School Closure Packet for Potential School Closures

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We are providing your child with a School Closure Packet to prepare for potential school closures due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances. This packet contains academic work to be completed in the event of a school cancellation. This work packet stays at home and is utilized only in the event of a school closure.  School Closure Packets will be sent monthly during the winter months. 

How to Use the School Closures Packet:

• Day 1: If school is canceled on the first day, please have your child complete the work designated as “Day 1.”

• Day 2: If school is canceled a second day, please have your child complete the work designated as “Day 2.”

• Subsequent Days: Continue with this pattern, progressing to Day 3, Day 4, and so on, as needed.

Important Notes:

• Completion and Return: Please ensure your child completes all assigned work in the packet for only the days missed. 

• Due Date: The completed work must be returned on the first day that school resumes.

• Grading: The completed work will be graded and count toward your child’s attendance and academic grade.

We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring your child stays on track with their education, even during school closures. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

AMI School Day on 2/14/25  and AMI Packets

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Our next AMI (Alternative Method of Instruction) school day will be Friday, February 14th. Students will not attend school in person on this day but will still be expected to complete assigned coursework.

To ensure a smooth transition, we will send home a packet of materials. This packet will contain all necessary assignments for the day. 

Please review the materials with your child and ensure they understand the expectations. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact your child's teacher or their building's office.
