Campfire Stories

• CHS students (and Mr. Parker) discuss what they've chosen as "evidence" of their accomplishments this year!

YOUR TASK:

Pull up your Laker Bucket Lists and consider what you've accomplished or improved in the last few months! What are you proud of?

Brainstorm potential evidence that could be uploaded to your PLP site that showcases what you have accomplished or learned. In other words, something that shows us what you're proud of.

Here are some student exemplars to check out:

• Ella
• Ben
• Nelly

'Insert' your two successes, each with a piece of evidence (picture, doc, project, etc) and a brief explanation, on the pre-made "Campfire Stories" page of your PLP site.

If uploading Google Docs or Slides, change share settings on the doc/slides to "anyone with link can view"

• Jacob takes over as PLP coordinator and comes up with a great shareout idea!
• The crew sets up a virtual bonfire and shares some things that they're proud of!

HomeBase Advisors:

• Distribute S'mores supplies!
• Project the Virtual Campfire

HomeBase Students:

• Set up desks/chairs in a big circle
• Pull up their PLP on their computer

YOUR TASK:

• Go around the circle sharing your successes!
• Students should show each of their visuals/products to the rest of their HB while telling their "story" about each one
• At the end of each story, ask each other questions or share comments about these achievements!
• Eat S'mores
