Booksnaps were developed by Kansas-based educator Tara Martin. In the beginning, Tara used Snapchat to take a picture of a page in a professional learning book that she thought was inspiring. She circled the text she liked, annotated why she was inspired and supported with emojis. In that moment, Booksnaps were born.
