Welcome! My name is Mrs. Lindsey Smith, BSN, RN, and I am proud to be in my second year of teaching Health Science at Coldspring-Oakhurst High School.

I graduated from Lamar University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and spent over 10 years working as a registered nurse. My nursing background includes experience in PACU, Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery. These experiences have given me a strong foundation that I now bring into the classroom.

My passion for education and my desire to inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals led me to teaching. I love getting to know my students and helping them grow not only in their medical knowledge but also in their confidence, teamwork, and professionalism.

Outside of school, I enjoy reading, camping, and spending time with my family and friends. I’m excited for another year filled with learning, growth, and opportunities for your students to explore future careers in healthcare.
