Here are a few things that we will be learning throughout the year in our reading class: letter sounds, letter identification, as well as reading and writing cvc words (ex. cat, hip, run). About Your Teacher
About Your Teacher
Mrs. Guerrero is a dedicated Kindergarten teacher at James Street Elementary School. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Sam Houston State University as well as certifications in ESL and the Science of Teaching Reading. She has been teaching at COCISD for over 10 years. She loves fostering a love of learning in her students. Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Guerrero enjoys reading, crocheting, and spending time with her family. She looks forward to another exciting year of learning and growth with her students.
