Just by attending this special event, any non-member will be invited to join us November 3-5 for COA's Monterey Symposium at our member rate ($199 or less) - earn up to 20 hours CE, network with 500+ ODs, attend all the parties, and visit the exhibit hall filled with the latest opto technology.

The only rule is that a member can't join, quit, and then come back in the same calendar year without paying dues for the months they missed. This policy is effective in deterring members who only want to join for an event registration discount or to take advantage of a members-only benefit.
