- The only rule is that a member can't join, quit, and then come back in the same calendar year without paying dues for the months they missed. This policy is effective in deterring members who only want to join for an event registration discount or to take advantage of a members-only benefit.

All you have to do is recruit 4 new doctor members by October 31!

- COA is tracking all new member referrals on online and paper applications.
- Your referral will be counted as soon as the new member makes a dues payment.
- "New" is defined as a doctor who hasn't been a COA member during the past 6 months.
- Sorry, students and new grads don't count (but we still appreciate them)!

The COA society with the top new member growth between March 1-October 31 will be awarded $2,500 to use towards hosting an amazing holiday party!
The COA society with the top new member growth between March 1-October 31 will be awarded $2,500 to use towards hosting an amazing holiday party!
- To be fair for all societies, big and small, new member growth will be based on the % of non-member doctors in each society area (as of Q1 2020) that join during the campaign.
- "New" is defined as a doctor who hasn't been a COA member during the past 6 months.
- Society transfers - while new to you - will not count towards growth %.
- Sorry, students and new grads don't count (but we still appreciate them)!
