Practical Cents was established in 1996 and operates as a resale store that serves people with disabilities by providing prevocational services, job placement, and supportive employment. The store offers good, clean, affordable clothing and household items in a convenient location.

Store Hours

Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm

Saturday 9am - 4pm

Donations of clothes, outerwear, furniture, kitchen items, toys, and housewares are accepted at the back of the building on

Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays 9 am - 4 pm

Fridays 9 am - 12 pm

Please call for an appointment for furniture and large donations.

Coats For Kids

Adams County Coats for Kids has one mission:

To provide Adams County kids with clean and warm outerwear.

Please bring donated clean Coats, Snow Pants, Hats, Gloves, Mittens & Boots to the Practical Cents Store.
