🌞🎉 Summer Fun Extravaganza: Creative Minds at Work! 🎉🌞
This week, our students embarked on an exciting design challenge to invent new summer products using recycled materials like cardboard, foil, yarn, and more! The goal? To create something that makes summer even more fun and special for kids everywhere.
Here’s how we did it:
1️⃣ Brainstorm: Students thought about what makes summer great and dreamed up ideas.
2️⃣ Design & Build: They sketched and built prototypes using recycled supplies—getting creative and resourceful!
3️⃣ Present: Each inventor shared their amazing ideas with the class.
4️⃣ Reflect: We talked about what worked, what was tricky, and what they learned.
This challenge wasn’t just about making cool stuff—it helped students practice important thinking skills like being creative, solving problems, and working with others to bring ideas to life.
Some awesome inventions included:
⚽ A Kickball Kit for endless backyard play
❄️ A magical cup that makes its own cold water
📚 The Bookworm’s Hammock—a cozy spot for summer reading
We wrapped up by asking:
What gave you your idea, and did it change as you worked?
What’s one cool thing about your project, and did it do what you wanted?
Who helped you, and how did they make your project better?
Huge kudos to our young creators for their imagination and hard work! Here’s to a summer full of fun, creativity, and discovery! 🌟✨
