After studying the Aztec, Maya, and Inca civilizations, Grade 5 students visited the Meadowcroft Rock Shelter in Avella.  The Rock Shelter is the oldest site of human habitation in North America! Students toured the excavation site, asked questions, and collected evidence to support whether or not they believed a civilization occupied this location.
