What a fun time fall can be in classrooms. Check out some of the awesome projects students in our 4th grade classes participated in last week. :) Thanks for the share Mrs. Darby!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN from Clayton Huey! We hope everyone has a happy, fun, and safe Halloween with their friends and families. Thank you for all of the parents who came out today to see our K-2 Halloween parade. The kids had an awesome time showing off their costumes.
What an amazing day it is when Mr. Pendergast comes around. Mr. Pendergast has become a Clayton Huey legend in his amazing work to help fight ALS. Mr. Pendergast was even generous enough to come to Clayton Huey once again to help educate our students about this terrible disease and spread information about his fight to find a cure. Keep fighting Mr. P! We will always hold you dear to us here at Clayton Huey. Please be on the lookout in the coming months for information about our Ride for Life fundraiser to help find a cure for ALS
Always remember the words of Mr. Pendergast!
Never Give Up
Never Lose Hope
Be Willing to Defy the Odds
Always Remain Optimistic
On Saturday, October 27 at Northport High School, five of Clayton Huey's fourth grade students, Brendon Taylor, Jude Hersh, Murphy Jones, Taylor Jastrzebski and Valeria Lennon, were selected to participate in the SCMEA PEAK festival. The students had a blast singing, dancing and playing instruments with their parents and other talented fourth grade musicians from across Long Island. This is Clayton Huey's third year participating in the festival!
