Help Desk

Thank you for visiting the North Mecklenburg High School Help Desk. Our goal is to provide quick and knowledgeable support to answer all of your technology questions. We currently have two options for providing support 1) Help Desk Zoom and 2) Help Desk Ticket.

We also offer the ability to remote into a Chromebook or Chrome browser (personal devices) to provide support. In order to have the Help Desk remote into your device to provide support please click on the Chrome Remote Desktop button below and follow the directions. After installing Chrome Remote Desktop return to the Help Desk page and login to the Help Desk Zoom. Let the Help Desk know that you would like remote assistance and provide the Code to them through a private chat.

BASIC STUDENT ACCOUNT INFORMATION

  • CMS Google Account

      • Username - StudentID@student.cms.k12.nc.us

      • Used for - logging in to CMS Chromebook, Google Drive, Student Email, Canvas AND CMS Chrombook Security (ZScaler)

  • CMS Account

  • NCEdCloud

      • Username - StudentID

      • Used for - PowerSchool, Canvas, other single-sign on applications in CMS

Available most school days from 8am-12pm.

In order to have the Help Desk remote into your device to provide support please click on the Chrome Remote Desktop button and follow the directions. After installing Chrome Remote Desktop return to the Help Desk page and login to the Help Desk Zoom. Let the Help Desk know that you would like remote assistance and provide the Code to them through a private chat.

Click the Help Desk Ticket button to submit a Help Desk ticket. After submitting your ticket you will receive a confirmation email with a ticket number. Please submit 1 ticket per issue you are having. When contacting the help desk please reference your ticket number.
