WHAT IS THE EARLY COLLEGE EXPO?
The Charlotte Early College Senior EXPO, held each year in the Spring, is the public event where the CEEC and CTEC students showcase this knowledge and their year-long design and development projects.
To succeed, the projects require ingenuity, creativity, and sustained focus throughout the school year. Groups work with peers and professionals as they go through the development of their unique products. Community involvement is key to our students’ success.
Previous EXPO events have occurred in uptown Charlotte, Northlake Mall, and UNC-Charlotte’s campus. The students are energized by the community partners and the media’s attention to their projects. Judges are brought in to evaluate the projects on several criteria and award the top teams prizes.
The 2025 Charlotte Early College Senior EXPO is on April 17th at the James H Barnhardt Student Activity Center/ Halton Arena (8:00 AM to 12:30 PM). As always, the Senior EXPO needs partners for continued success.
