Occupational Course of Study- American History, Civics, Prep and Lab
Thanks for a great school year! We'll see you in August for the 2021-2022 year.
Prep and Lab Course Expectations: Students will be expected to be in class on time, ready to learn and, when the time comes, go off-campus to work. Students will NOT be permitted to use personal devices during class or on the job site; students will leave personal items (backpacks, phones, etc) in the classroom while we are away. The room will be locked and secure. Students will be expected to treat fellow classmates, teacher, job coach, and site manager with respect. Students who work at Chick-fil-a will be expected to bring their appropriate clothing everyday.
American History and Civics Course Expectations: Students will be expected to be in class on time, ready to learn. Students will NOT be permitted to use personal devices during class. Students will be expected to treat fellow classmates and teacher with respect. Students will be expected to try their best and ask for help when needed. Students will be expected to bring their chromebook, charged, to class each day.
Grading: Grades will consist of formal and informal assessments. Informal assessments (homework, class work, participation, etc) count for 30%. Formal assessments (tests, papers, projects, etc) count for 70%. Progress reports will be provided to the students on the designated dates.
