7th Grade Science

About me

This is my fourth year teaching as well as at Southwest Middle school. I have a bachelor's in Science, Athletic Training from Radford University and a Masters of Education, Instructional Technology from Virginia Tech. I worked for three years in the Sports Medicine field as an athletic trainer at the Collegiate, high school and clinical levels. While I enjoyed the job I quickly found it was not the field I wanted to stay in forever. I had always felt that education was very important and that I could bring a lot of interesting perspectives to the science education field. I have been extremely happy with my decision and look forward to a very long career in education.
