The PTSA board works closely with parents, students, school administration, and staff to support educational initiatives at Independence. The goal of the PTSA is to provide an enriched educational experience for students at Independence, to assist faculty and staff, and to inspire a sense of pride in our school. This is done through volunteering and funding our organization so the PTSA can provide programs, services, and resources that will maximize the educational opportunities for all.

As you already know, parental involvement in education is the key to every student’s success. We encourage and invite you to get involved - volunteer and support PTSA programs and projects. Together we can partner with Independence High School to provide the foundation our students need to succeed.
