About Ms. Haggard

I am so excited to meet you and to be your teacher for the 2020-2021 school year! I am your Foundations of English I teacher. I have been a teacher for over five years and have experience teaching English I, Creative Writing, and Speech and Debate! I love to write curriculum to motivate and engage young learners in literacy.

Fun Facts

1. I have lived in Charlotte, NC for 6 years. I am originally from Louisville, Kentucky.

2. I attended Northern Kentucky University for my Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and The University of North Carolina at Charlotte for my Master's of Secondary Education.

3. I have one older brother who lives in Nashville, Tennessee and a niece who is 4 years old and loves Beyonce'.

4. I am a Pescatarian, which means I only eat fish!

5. I love music and traveling! My favorite vacation destination was Turks and Caicos!
