The visual arts program at GVSA allows each student to express themselves in a creative way. Literacy and STEM concepts are authentically integrated into each art lesson. Throughout the year, students will learn about artists, art movements, and important moments in art history. Students will learn to use the Elements of Art and Principles of Design to create a variety of artwork. They will use a variety of art mediums and learn about art processes such as painting, drawing, printmaking, ceramics, and more!
