About Me
I am originally from Western New York and have slowly made my way down to the Charlotte area. I obtained my bachelor's degree in English Education from Liberty University and my M.Ed. in Literacy from Alfred University.
In addition to teaching college classes, I've taught every grade from 6th -12th. I'm very excited to be teaching 6th grade at South Charlotte Middle School this year.
Tutoring
My tutoring is on Friday mornings from 7:45-8:15.
Accessing Notes, Classwork, and Homework assignments
All notes, classwork, and homework assignments are posted daily in Google Classroom.
Students will register for Google Classroom at school with the teacher using a classroom code. If students have any issues with Google Classroom or access, please email the teacher for assistance. Access is granted through a parent invite. I'll need you to email me with your preferred email address so that I can send that invite: erinc.cummins@cms.k12.nc.us
Guardian Access to Google Classroom
Guardians - please email me with your preferred email address(es) to use for Google Classroom!
When guardians join Classroom, they receive regular, automatic email summaries for each of their students. Guardians choose the frequency of the emails—daily or weekly—and can unsubscribe at any time.
Guardian email summaries include:
Missing work—Work that’s late at the time the email was sent
Upcoming work—Work that’s due today and tomorrow (for daily emails) or work that’s due in the upcoming week (for weekly emails)
Class activity—Announcements, assignments, and questions recently posted by teachers
