Hockett, Erin

I am an Occupational Therapist originally from Leesburg, FL. I graduated from Presbyterian College with a BS in Special Education and University of Florida with an MS in Occupational Therapy. I have lived in Charlotte, NC since 2002. I have a passion for pediatrics and have worked in a variety of settings such as homes, daycares, schools, and clinics. My specialty areas of practice and certifications include Sensory Integration (SIPT), Handwriting Without Tears, behavior and self-regulation strategies, sensory processing, strengthening, fine motor and perceptual training, early intervention, and self-care. I have experience treating children with developmental delays, sensory processing disorders, autism spectrum disorders, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and fine motor delays. I am an avid reader and enjoy spending time with my husband, two children, and rescue dog, exploring the outdoors, traveling, and eating out.
