Julie is a passionate and accomplished pediatric occupational therapist who has been helping clients and their families thrive since 2014. Her expertise spans from a wide range of settings, including pediatric care in the outpatient, school, home, and acute care settings. In these roles, she has honed her skills in developmental interventions, sensory integration, and evidence-based care plans for children. Her background as a foster care parent has also instilled a passion for social-emotional health and its impact on behavior and academic performance.
Julie holds a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Winston-Salem State University and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is also a certified American College of Sports Medicine Exercise Physiologist. When not working with children, Julie is an adjunct professor at Queens University of Charlotte and Central Piedmont Community College.
Julie is also a military spouse and enjoys spending time with her family, including her two young boys, and attending their many sporting events.
