Are you interested in watching and learning from other teachers? Check out the Pineapple Chart to find teachers that have signed up to share their skills! Do you want to learn more about a new strategy or the new curriculum? Check out the Pineapple Chart to see what strategies and content areas are being shown!
What is a Pineapple Chart? A Pineapple Chart is an opportunity to invite other teachers into your classroom in order to share classroom strategies and practices. Why pineapples? They are the symbol of hospitality. A Pineapple Chart is a great way to increase collaboration among teachers within a school and throughout the district. In a school setting, the Pineapple Chart is generally set up in a high visibility area- such as the lounge, copy room or by the mailboxes. Our district-wide Pineapple Chart will be housed here for all teachers to see.
Are you interested in showing off your skills either through the CMS Pineapple Chart? Sign up to host other teachers in your classroom by filling out this form - https://bit.ly/HostPineappleChart.
Are you interested in going to see another teacher's classroom? Due to privacy, the links will only be provided to teachers who wish to visit the classrooms below. Sign up to visit another teachers classroom by filling out this form: https://bit.ly/VisitPineappleChart
Guess what? All visits will be done remotely! That's right! You do not have to worry about traveling or travelers from all over the county to experience great practices and strategies exhibited from other teachers.
A BTD&S team member will use a SWIVL to live stream a host teacher's lesson while visiting teachers attend through Microsoft Teams. Visiting teachers will get to see the action in real-time without needing to attend in-person (no sub needed for this learning opportunity)!
This page is intended for educational use and learning opportunities within our district. It is our goal to learn and grow from one another. We ask that you respect the educators and students.
Follow all CMS policies in regards to filming students and remote teaching protocols.
Presume positive intentions as you engage in other classrooms and learning spaces.
Celebrate and engage with one other after the learning experience.
