I am originally from the Finger Lakes region of New York

I received my bachelor's degree from SUNY Geneseo and my master's degree from SUNY Albany .

This is my 8th year teaching at South Charlotte Middle School.

Tutoring

Math Tutoring-Tuesday 7:45 am

Language Arts Tutoring-Friday 7:45 am

For Math tutoring you must notify me by Monday at 4:30 pm that you will be attending, for Language Arts tutoring you must notify me by Thursday at 4:30 pm that you will be attending.

Accessing Notes, Classwork, and Homework assignments

All notes, classwork, and homework assignments are posted daily in Google Classroom.

Students will register for Google Classroom at school with the teacher using a classroom code. If students have any issues with Google Classroom or access, please email the teacher for assistance.

Students: To access Google Classroom, be sure you are logged into chrome with your CMS email studentid@student.cms.k12.nc.us . classroom.google.com

Guardian Access to Google Classroom

Guardians - please email me with your preferred email address(es) to use for Google Classroom!

When guardians join Classroom, they receive regular, automatic email summaries for each of their students. Guardians choose the frequency of the emails—daily or weekly—and can unsubscribe at any time.

Guardian email summaries include:

Missing work—Work that’s late at the time the email was sent

Upcoming work—Work that’s due today and tomorrow (for daily emails) or work that’s due in the upcoming week (for weekly emails)

Class activity—Announcements, assignments, and questions recently posted by teachers
